“A fantastic tour! Our guide Herman is a true professional and a master of his craft. He shared fascinating stories about the city and the country, keeping us engaged the whole time. The itinerary was perfectly planned — well-paced, comfortable, and suitable for all ages. We were traveling with our 4-year-old, and he absolutely loved it: the beautiful park, the boat ride, and even swimming in the charming town of Skradin. Everything was organized flawlessly, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Highly recommended — thank you so much!”

Zadar: River Zrmanja Guided Kayak Safari & Waterfalls

4.River Zrmanja Guided Kayak Safari & Waterfalls

★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 132 reviews · from $76

You’ll start in Kaštel Žegarski with a safety briefing and paddling lesson, then follow the Zrmanja toward Krupa’s mouth and Visoki buk waterfall. Guides lead the kayak or rafting trip, help with the short waterfall portage, and allow time to swim. The route ends at Muškovci after about four hours.

“When we got to the meeting place, we met 3 young guides who explained everything. If you're not good with English, there's a lady who speaks Italian. The location is beautiful, but the 10 km can be a bit tiring for first-timers (like us). They'll wait for you if you fall behind. Overall, it was a great experience. Bring a beach towel, food, and drinks, and they'll be well kept in insulated boxes.”
