Dinh and her sister lead a 9 to 10 km trek from Lao Chai through rice terraces and bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai Waterfall. You’ll meet Red Dao families, eat lunch in a local home, and return to Sapa by mid-afternoon. The walk is scenic but includes steep climbs, so bring sturdy shoes and a change of clothes.

“It was a good experience to understand the village culture and embrace the natural beauty of Sapa through walk in the Bamboo Forest . We enjoyed the company of Our guide , Do who was good in communication ( English ) & very informative . The trek towards the last was tough. Our guide could have avoided the waterfall as it was dry . The local food was also nice . Please beware of the local vendor who try to sell a lot of local made souvenirs and they will try to accompany you in the trek.”
