★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 1,392 reviews · 7 hours · from $106Best value

Travel 105 km from Rovaniemi in a new 4x4 van, then hike 4 to 6 km through snowy forests and past Korouoma’s frozen waterfalls. Your English-speaking guide, such as Hugo, William, Pedro, or Vanessa, handles the route, safety, stories, hot drinks, and grilled sausages. Moderate fitness is needed.

“The waterfalls are 100% worth it and the nature around them was just beautiful! We were picked up at our hotel and the hike itself was not too challenging (a person with average even low fitness could do it) some parts of the trail are very icy and therefore, very slippery so keep that in mind. Our guide Hugo was nice and made sure to tell us some facts about lapland and the canyon, which I appreciated very much. He answered all of our questions, made sure everyone was safe and grilled our lunch!”

Guides such as Alex, Elias, and Aleksei lead small groups, explain the area, and finish with hot drinks and a traditional barbecue, including vegetarian options.

“Great tour! Provided spikes for shoes making it easier to get around on the hike. The hike is like 3 miles long but is relatively easy until the end. You have to hike up a huge hill. But, I would definitely do it again. It was beautiful. My friends and I were able to experience the birds landing on our hands at the fire. This was a cool experience.”
